Aqualine PVC Pipe Cement – Type P is engineered for high-performance bonding of PVC pipes and fittings in pressure systems. Suitable for residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial applications such as irrigation, reticulation, swimming pools & spas, and pressurised fluid lines, it delivers strong, watertight joints that withstand demanding conditions. Bonds are waterproof when jointing instructions in AS/NZS 2032 are followed, ensuring long-term reliability under pressure.

Instruction for Use

Follow the joining procedure as laid out in AS/NZS 2032:

1. Cut the pipe end square and remove all burrs.
2. Mark the pipe at full socket depth and test for a dry fit. For pressure joints, ensure an interference fit before the mark.
3. Use Aqualine PVC Priming Fluid to clean the pipe end and socket with a freshly moistened cloth.
4. Apply Aqualine Pipe Cement in full, even coats to both surfaces—first inside the socket, then the pipe end.
5. Immediately assemble by pushing the pipe firmly home to full depth while adhesive is wet.
   • For large diameters (100mm+), either assemble after one coat or apply a second coat before assembly.
6. Hold the joint for at least 30 seconds, do not disturb for 5 minutes, and allow 24 hours before applying pressure.
7. Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C.
