Features

  • Fast setting
  • Achieves high initial bond strength, minimum 4 bar, 20min on interference joints
  • Ideal for use in irrigation, plumbing, Pools & Spa applications
  • Approved to AS/NZS4020 for drinking water

Instruction for use:

  • Follow the joining procedure as laid out in AS/NZS2032.
  • Cut the pipe end square and remove all burrs.
  • For correct joint assembly, mark the pipe at a distance equal to the full socket depth. Test the joint for a dry fit. For pressure pipe joints, an interference fit must be reached before the mark.
  • Priming fluids shall be used to prepare the jointing surface prior to solvent cement application. Use a clean cloth freshly moistened with Aqualine PVC Priming Fluid to clean the pipe end and inside of the socket.
  • Apply Aqualine Pipe Cement in full, even coats to both surfaces, first to the inside of the socket, then to the external surface of the pipe end.
  • Immediately assemble by pushing the pipe firmly home to the full depth of the socket while the adhesive is still wet. For large diameter joints (100mm and above), it is recommended to either use one coat and immediately assemble or apply a second coat of PVC cement.
  • Firmly hold the assembled joint for at least 30 seconds. Do not disturb it for 5 minutes, and allow 24 hours before applying pressure.
  • Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C.
